ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS

We host floristry and wreath-making workshops in Bradford at our Market Street studio. We also offer workshops at clients’ offices or other venues across Bradford and Halifax. If you’re interested in booking a workshop with us, please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

Please note that all workshops are attended at your own risk. It is your responsibility to use equipment safely and follow the instructions given by the workshop leader. We cannot accept liability for any injury that may occur during a workshop.

Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for their supervision throughout the workshop.

 

OUR STUDIO: ACCESS & SAFETY

Our Market Street studio can accommodate approximately 10 people and is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. Please note that toilets are located downstairs, with no elevator access.

For larger groups, we can also host your workshop at either the upper floor in Darley Street Market or the Prestigious Midland Hotel on Market Street. If you have a preferred location, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to insurance coverage.

At the start of your workshop, our florist will brief you on safety guidelines and explain what to do in case of a fire. We kindly ask all attendees to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable session.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA

We may wish to capture some photos or videos of the event. We will always check with everyone first to ensure you’re comfortable.

By agreeing, you give permission for images or videos to be shared on our social media channels and/or website to help promote future workshops.

If you are a business, we may also feature your business name and logo on our website, social media, and promotional materials as part of our ‘previous clients’ showcase. If you are not comfortable with this, please notify us via email.

 

CANCELLATION BY BLOSSOMS

If a workshop is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., staff illness or lockdown), we will notify you promptly. We will aim to reschedule the workshop and hold a place for you. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled session, we will refund your ticket.

Workshops are only ever cancelled in extreme circumstances beyond our control.

 

BOOKING DETAILS

 

BLOSSOMS’ VENUE – INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOPS

To book a ticket for one of our group workshops, please click ‘Workshops’ on www.blossomsflorist.co.uk to view our upcoming classes. Adding a ticket to your cart will take you to the checkout page.

Your confirmation email serves as your ticket — no need to print it. On the day of the workshop, you may be asked for your name or email so we can check you off our list of attendees.

Workshop Cancellations

  • If you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • If you inform us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to transfer you to another scheduled class at no extra cost, or retain a credit for the full amount to use for a future workshop.

  • Please note that workshop payments are non-refundable.

 

PRIVATE DOMESTIC PARTY WORKSHOPS

DEPOSIT

Planning ahead? For hen party enquiries made more than a month in advance, we require a deposit to secure your date. The amount varies depending on your party size and chosen date, typically between £100–£250.

Your deposit guarantees your slot is held just for you, so you can relax and focus on the fun! Please note: deposits are non-refundable.

PAYMENT

Around two weeks before your workshop, we’ll get in touch to confirm the final number of guests. The final price will be based on this number.

Once confirmed and the final invoice is paid, cancellations cannot be refunded, as we need to pre-order materials and plan our schedule around your workshop.

 

CANCELLATIONS 🌸

If you need to cancel due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g., train strikes, illness, lockdown), please contact us at hello@blossomsandco.uk as soon as possible. We may be able to reschedule your workshop, though a rescheduling fee may apply.

If we need to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., staff illness, lockdown), we will notify you promptly and refund the full amount paid. We will always do our best to find a solution, whether rescheduling your workshop or offering DIY kits to enjoy at home.

 

CORPORATE WORKSHOPS

BOOKING PROCESS 🌸

If you’re interested in booking a corporate workshop or event, please email hello@blossomsandco.uk with details about your event, including the number of attendees and your preferred date and time.

Our team will respond with a quote within 2–3 days. Once a date and time are agreed, we will send an invoice. Payment of the invoice confirms your booking.

PAYMENT

We require full payment upfront for all workshops and events. Payments can be made via bank transfer or payment link (please note: a 3% credit card fee applies for payment link transactions).

The total price depends on the number of attendees and may include a travel and setup fee if applicable.

If the exact number of attendees is unknown at the time of booking, we will ask for either:

  • an estimate of the minimum number, or

  • a deposit, with the final number confirmed closer to the workshop date.

Please note: our quotes generally do not include VAT.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

If you need to cancel your workshop or event or reduce the number of attendees, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • If we are notified at least 1 month in advance, we may be able to reschedule your workshop free of charge.

  • If no suitable rescheduling slot can be found, we can provide wreath-making kits for your attendees.

  • For last-minute cancellations (full cancellation or reduced numbers), we can provide wreath-making kits as long as we are notified at least 72 hours before the workshop.

Please note: workshop payments are always non-refundable.
